Emily Barletta likes to sew and crochet mostly red things and with landscape colors and small marks. She has been accused of having a short attention span and tends to switch modes quickly. The colors and thread hold the work together in a unison of tiny stitches.

Barletta’s work has been exhibited at galleries and museums internationally. She was awarded a NYFA fellowship and a Pollock-Krasner Grant. She once studied art at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. Barletta lives and works in upstate New York.

Barletta is represented by Blue Print Gallery, Dallas, TX.

A small selection of works are available at the Deanna Evans Projects, 2022 Flat File
